The BMW M6 is a more cogent version of the graceful 650. Available as either a coupe or a convertible security, it’s designed to attract to the sport deluxe partizan, providing heightened performance and subtly ambitious styling.

In 1983 Bmw adopted the M88/3 engine, a modified edition of the M88/1 from the BMW M1 and put it in the E24 chassis of the BMW 6-Series, making the M635CSi (called “M6″ in North America). The “M6″ was critically acclaimed throughout its lifetime as its graceful, ambitious “shark-nose” styling, its well-found luxury features, and its fast performance. An M6 can be distinguished from other E24 models by a larger air dam, M badges on the grille and back, and slenderly larger front brackens.

The M6 boasts as is muscular hand-built 500-hp 5.0-liter V10 engine as the M5, along with heightened suspension and brakes. A 7-speed Sequential Manual Gearbox (SMG) with wheel shift paddles is criterion; a conventional 6-speed manual of arms transmission is also available. Both the coupe and convertible are built using lightweight aluminum, carbon fiber and composite materials, admitting the M6 an excellent power-to-weight ratio. Distinguishing criterion features include exclusive M designed 19-inch forged alloy wheels, heated leather M sport front seats and BMW’s M Drive button on the wheel to save and retrieve preferred driving settings.

The BMW M6 carries forward with minimal changes for 2010. Both the coupe and convertible security are now outfitted with digital HD Radio, while the next-generation iDrive system includes afresh internal hard drive-based navigation unit.
